Originally built in the 1950s, The View has been lovingly renovated, by the daughter of the original owners. Designed to maximise the stunning Derbyshire views, the open plan living area is perfect for relaxed living, whether you’re a group of up to six single adults or three couples.

Spacious 3 Bed Accomadation

A beautiful property that has only just been renovated to a very high standard. Accessed via a stunning elevated terrace, surrounded by an elegant glass balustrade, to take in the panoramic view of mature trees and rolling countryside. There are three spacious bedrooms (two twin bedrooms and one large bedroom with both a double and single bed). A spacious open plan lounge/kitchen diner with log burner leads to a hallway, where the 3 ground floor bedrooms and two bathrooms are situated. Each room is beautifully appointed.

Situated just a stone’s throw from Carsington Water, you’ll enjoy immediate access to this idyllic reservoir. It is perfect for serene walks, picnics or exhilarating water sports and cycling (cycle hire available as well as kayaks and wind surfing). If you’re in the mood for exploration, the delightful town of Wirksworth is within easy reach, offering a rich blend of heritage and charm.
 
The View at Orchard View’s prime location ensures you’re never far from an exciting adventure. Dovedale with its well known stepping stones and limestone gorge is just 20 minutesdrive away.. Slightly further are Mill Dale, Wolfscote Dale and Beresford Dale.  Just 12 minutes away is the Georgian market town of Ashbourne, and the fascinating town of Wirksworth.
 
Further afield, you’ll find the towns of Matlock and Bakewell, with Chatsworth House round the corner. All boasting their unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.
